So today's motivation comes from a game i was playing the other day. one of the character's was visiting the grave of his wife alongside his daughter. Your character accompanies them and that's when this quote hit. The man was saying that his wife would always say things like this, "We cannot rewind the hands of time, we must live fully in the present. To dwell too much in the past would mean you aren't moving forward." This is interesting because its coming from a man who is remembering someone who passed away, implying that thinking about the past isn't all bad but the point i see is that, if the past becomes your reality, you will be living in a mirage of the past and your present will be overshadowed. That doesn't mean the past isn't important but its best to leave the past where it belongs and it doesn't belong in your present.
