So this is the quote I prepared for today. But I want to talk about something else. In a way, it relates. I feel like every so often there is always some sort of huge issue in the states. Constantly, people of color keep getting killed. Please don’t misunderstand, I am aware of injustices happening all over. No matter what, it’s sad when you see and hear stories about a person, who lost their ability to still grow, to be magnificent. It’s sad when people who intend to live have their lungs stifled and their God-given breath brutally yanked away.
It’s a shame, but it’s a lesson, a reminder. Don’t fuel hate. Choose it live in service or at least choose a path that doesn’t threaten other’s safety. The hands meant for helping, the hands that should be helped, should not be contorted this way.
