So I was watching this show, this anime, the other day and it came to the climax. After witnessing the climax, i felt that the motivation should come from there. this was your standard revenge story where vengeance was the main motivation for the main character's actions. In the climatic moment, he, ie main character guy, received advice from an unlikely, and somewhat undeserving character. But the advice was something like this, " How do you plan to live your life....move forward already. Don't stay stuck in a boring place like this forever". I want to talk about the last portion. "don't stay stuck" is interesting because the character implied that the revenge the main guy was seeking only assisted to keep him suspended in animation. I think this is true because that was all the main guy could think about. It WAS his center of gravity. That center was also disappearing and what did that leave him with? Nothing. So all this was to say, Watch you intentions and watch your motivations. They could drive you towards madness, but they could, instead, drive you to better places. Perhaps the main character will find a better place one day.
