So I was watching the first Lord of The Rings the other day and a quote hit me. In Fellowship, Gandalf responded to Frodo's resentment for being chosen to bear the ring. Gandalf said, " So do All who live to see such times, but that isn't for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." To me, This is powerful because the way i see it, Life will present us with a healthy amount of situations that make us feel poor or desolate. We may resent what we have or are given, when, instead, we could look for the opportunity in our dealt cards. Much good comes from bad situations.
